SolidWorks 2016 Features
- Add parameters for conical plots and Support for Incorrect Information Container Tool Type. Barrel tool type is not supported.
- In the Import / Export chapter, the topic Export using extended fact contains incorrect information.
- Output and geometry options are not available.
- The Export Animation option is renamed Export to Motion Research.
- In SOLIDWORKS 3D Connections chapter, the Export to Revit Family Format topic contains incorrect information. The functions are not supported and have been removed from the software.
- In SOLIDWORKS MBID chapter, a new topic was added, Publish to 3D PDF, containing the following information:
- UI updates to Publish to 3D PDF help you better visualize the impact your selections have on the final output.
- The New Template Selection dialog provides large previews of the available templates, including page-by-page previews of multiple templates.
- After you select a template, when you make selections in the Asset Manager, a large preview of the PDF document allows you to see the effects of your selections.

Instructions for installing SolidWorks 2016
- Turn off antivirus software (Note off Windows Defender as well )
- Unzip the downloaded software
- Turn off the internet
- Run the file " SolidWorksSerialNumbers2016.reg "
- Mount the ISO file, run Setup to install the software
- After installation is complete, run the file " SW2010-2016.Activator.GUI.SSQ.exe ", select SolidWorks 2016 and then select Active
